Adding Facebook remarketing code to the website
In order to add the Facebook Pixel to your site, you only need to enter your Facebook Pixel number in the designated field.
Important: We do not need the full code, only the ID (the number we copied in the first step).
Do not forget to click Save Settings after you paste the Pixel ID.
You can control Facebook settings by clicking on Facebook Settings in the plugin’s right-hand menu.
Enable Advanced Matching – Additional Information Matching
When this option is enabled, the plugin will send advanced matching data for website visitors.
What is Advanced Matching: This is a Facebook feature that allows you to safely send them information about your visitors. This information will help Facebook identify (match) the visitor and connect with an actual Facebook account. This is useful in cases where Facebook cannot do this the standard way, such as existing cookies or a logged-in account.
The plugin will send information such as:
- Phone
- First name
- Last name
- City
- State
- Zip code
- Country
