What do we know about Instagram in Israel and about promoting businesses on Instagram?

♦ In Israel, we rose this year from 3,100,000 to 3,700,000 monthly users, a very significant increase. Of these, 2,200,000 are daily users (compared to 2,100,000 last year). Beyond feed ads, there is also significant growth in traffic and engagement in Instagram Stories, with 3,000,000 monthly users and 1,700,000 active daily. Despite the significant increase in the number of monthly Instagram users, the number of daily users experienced a slight decrease from last year.

♦ There is an increase in monthly Instagram usage of about 19% broken down by age. On Instagram for ages 13-17, there is an 11% decrease in monthly usage and an 11% increase in daily usage. For ages 18-24, there is again a sharp 8% decrease in monthly usage, and an 8% increase in daily usage, reaching 670 thousand daily users. For ages 25-34, there is a 2% decrease in monthly usage to 326 thousand. For ages 35+, there is a 5% decrease in monthly usage.
