Accessibility Statement - Fialkov Digital Website

Commitment to Accessibility

This website is owned and operated by FD Media. We are committed to making this website accessible to people with disabilities.

Accessibility Standard and Conformance Status

We work to Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, as required by regulation 35A of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 2013.

This website partially conforms to the standard. Known limitations are detailed below.

Accessibility Menu

The site runs the Ally accessibility plugin by Elementor (pojo-accessibility). It includes a floating button that opens an accessibility menu.

Based on the plugin documentation, the widget offers features such as:

  • Contrast modes (high, dark, light, negative)
  • Font resizing and readable font toggle
  • Pause animations and hide images
  • Line height and text alignment options
  • Keyboard navigation enhancements
  • Underlined links and reading guide
  • Skip to content / sitemap viewer
  • Language selector
  • Restore defaults and widget toggle

Visitors can choose to temporarily dismiss the widget for a session, 24 hours, or one week.

Adjustments Made on the Site

The following adjustments were made on this site:

  • A “Skip to content” link that targets the main content.
  • ARIA labels on the header logo and on the contact links, so screen readers announce them clearly.
  • Text alternatives (alt text) for the post-card thumbnail images on the home page and the blog.
  • A link to this accessibility statement in the footer.
  • The accessibility menu described above.

Known Limitations

These known limitations are still open:

  • Insufficient color contrast in some elements (forms, dividers, buttons). This is currently being handled.
  • Image carousel arrows without accessible names.
  • Older blog posts that may contain images without full text alternatives.

Physical Accessibility Arrangements

There is no public reception at our office. Therefore, there are no physical accessibility arrangements to publish. Inquiries are handled by email.
